Swiss Cycling Road Guide

In 2021 I completed my Swiss Cycling road guide qualification. The condition for successfully completing the Road Guide training is to have solid technical skills on road bikes or gravel bikes, good orientation skills and above all to enjoy working and travelling with clients.

Admission Exam - 1 day course

The skills assessed are cycling technique, coordination, terrain orientation and physical condition. A fun course had to be completed which tested bike handling skills.

Road Bike Module - 5 day Road Guide module

I completed this 5 day road cycling module in Grenchen at the Swiss Cycling Provided all the basics needs to plan, recognise and competently carry out a commercial tour on a road and gravel bike.

Participants acquire knowledge in the areas of orientation, risk management, cycling technique, planning, preparation and management of cycling tours, as well as behavior on the road.
